Hey!
Pretty much every part of the game has an equipment set tied to it, the Crystal Nucleus should not be an exception. As such, I've made a Crystal Nucleus equipment set which you can find below.
Yolkar's Cloak
Yolkar's Cloak can be obtained by giving King Yolkar
instead of the usual 3 Goblin Eggs. When giving him a
Mysterious Meat, he will say:
You can find Yolkar's Cloak below, as well as an explanation relating to the cloak's ability.
Extra Notes: Some changes were made to the King's Scent effect in order to make this ability, as well as an additional feature of the Mysterious Meat to work. Like other potion effects, the King's Scent now has additional levels that increase how many times you can claim the Amber Crystal before it dissipates. By default, you'll still get King's Scent I, which allows you to claim the Amber Crystal once. Giving King Yolkar a Mysterious Meat grants you King's Scent II, which allows you to claim the Amber Crystal twice. Lastly, the Foul Odour ability increases the King's Scent effect level by +1, which grants King's Scent II if you talk to King Yolkar normally, or King's Scent III if you give him a Mysterious Meat. This still keeps the current system that doesn't allow you to claim the Amber Crystal over and over again to create Perfect Amber Gemstones, all this cloak does is allow you to claim the Crystal again after completing a Nucleus run without the need to talk to King Yolkar constantly.
Additionally, once you've claimed Yolkar's Cloak, you'll be able to purchase it again from Rusty for 2,500,000 Coins.
Electromagnetic Gloves
The Electromagnetic Gloves are given as a gift from Professor Robot after assisting him in repairing the Giant 10 times.
Extra Note: Upon receiving the Electromagnetic Gloves, you'll be able to purchase them again from Rusty for 2,500,000 Coins.
Kalhuiki Necklace
In order to gain access to the Kalhuiki Necklace, you'll need to complete the Temple's Trial in under 1.5 minutes. After you complete the trial, Odawa will praise you for showing your parkour skill, and allow you to purchase the Kalhuiki Necklace for 8 Jungle Hearts & 1024 Sludge Juice.
Extra Notes: Upon purchasing this for the first time, this item will be removed from the shop and be re-purchasable via Rusty for 2,500,000 Coins.
The secret passageway becomes accessible so long as you have the Kalhuiki Necklace equipped. To reach that entrance, you'll need to talk to any of the Kalhuiki Door Guardians.
After giving them the Jungle Key, you'll be warped to the area 2 sections before the end of the parkour.
The Last 2 Sections:
Dwarven Tool Belt
The Dwarven Tool Belt can be crafted with 4 different coloured fabrics, as well as each of the scavenged tools found in the Mines of Divan.
You can obtain each fabric by giving each Keeper a polished variant of their scavenged tools, which are made by combing their scavenged tool with it's enchanted block variant in an anvil. For example, the Polished Lapis Sword is obtained by combining a Scavenged Lapis Sword & Enchanted Lapis Block in an Anvil.
The dialogue used for all of the keepers remains the same, aside from the colour of fabric, the polished tool and name.
Extra Notes: In addition to collecting the different coloured fabrics, the Polished tools also allow for 2 collections of the Jade Crystal instead of 1. You won't receive multiple fabrics if you give them a polished tool either, since once you craft the Dwarven Tool Belt, it will be purchasable at Rusty for 2,500,000 Coins.
Changelog
Since this thread was made, a few changes to items, dialogue and general formatting of the thread. Each change can be found below:
- Kalhuiki Necklace
- Provided images to show where the secret passage is inside the Jungle Temple. (Requested by @Bmndestroyer)
- Renamed the One Of Us ability to "Tribe's Recognition".
- Replaced the Youngling rescue mission to obtain the Kalhuiki Necklace with a more difficult Temple's Trial challenge. (@AetherSword)
- Due to structures being lobby dependant, you could either get very lucky or very unlucky with the youngling's structure location. Changing it to be apart of the Jungle Temple removes any possible randomness to the challenge.
- The Temple's Trial requires the player to claim the Amethyst Crystal within 1.5 minutes*
- Yolkar's Cloak
- Renamed the Goblin King's Cloak item name to "Yolkar's Cloak".
- Updated the Foul Odour ability to increase the effect level of the King's Scent by +1 rather than retaining the King's Scent after collecting the Amber Crystal.
- This change should align with the current system on the Alpha Network as it doesn't allow for easy creation of Perfect Amber Gemstones while still allowing for quicker overall Nucleus completions. (@SpectrePlay5)
- The King's Scent still dissipates if the Amber Crystal is consumed outside the Crystal Hollows.
- Allowed King Yolkar to grant his King's Scent for free after getting Yolkar's Cloak. (@Eruias2932)
- King Yolkar now applies King's Scent II if given a Mysterious Meat.
- Updated King Yolkar's dialogue to reflect the changes mentioned above relating to the King's Scent being applied.
- Clarified that the cloak does not re-enable claiming the Amber Crystal multiple times to create Perfect Amber Gemstones. (@GreenMiner33)
- Polished Tool Variant
- Added additional functionality to Polished Tools that allow for multiple collections of the Jade Crystal.
