In my experience, Chase is reluctant to ACTUALLY help a client with anything. (This is not to say that individual tellers aren't competent, kind, and productive.) Still, I have no idea why Chase slams its doors shut on Saturdays when most people work on weekdays and would appreciate having their Saturdays to do errands (which would include in-bank access) and, also, to balance their checkbooks. Worse: When a customer calls the bank, we can NEVER simply dial the line of our favorite representative so that we can speak one-on-one with a banker familiar with our accounts. If we have a sudden question or concern, we should have some avenue to be in touch with our bank and its bankers (as in the "olden days"--say, 2021).Many branches have polite, thoughtful tellers, but overall bank policies seem designed more to choke the consumer rather than to help her or him.
